Limited x Luvieur: Pussy Print
Going by the artist moniker Luvieur, Steph is a self taught visual artist and painter. Her work explores social and cultural landscapes, pushing for more diversity and representation of womxn. Her style takes on minimalist and spiritual inspiration from Chinese calligraphy and raw and diverse colours of nature, in a wabi-sabi approach integral to honouring the process of creation.
Actively painting large murals of female portraits and figures around Perth, and hosting art workshops to encourage people to explore their creative capabilities, she wishes to reach spaces across the globe to allow her art to connect with more people. Luvieur’s work can be found in galleries in Los Angeles, Perth, and the online sphere.
To be able to work on this collaboration with Limited Collective is such an honour to be part of a movement to shift focus and power in ourselves to creating a more mindful future. There are many connections between the art and act of wearing the art piece, such as the loud leopard print and our strong voices of ally-ship and solidarity, and our rightful choice and freedom to what we do with our body and our choice and power in how we present our selves in style and fashion.
Yet the message is simple. We are presenting the most powerful yet discriminated body part in the world, the human vulva, to encourage positive thinking about the beauty of unique colours and shapes of the vulva.
The name 'pussy print' is a tongue-in-cheek name with the use of colloquial term 'pussy' in reference to the vagina and also a cat (the leopard in this instance).

Wabi-sabi: In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of appreciating beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete" in nature.
Chinese calligraphy: Chinese calligraphy is described as the perfect marriage of art and meditation. Chinese calligraphy provides a vehicle to a forced state of mindfulness, settling the mind and de-stressing the body through meditative actions in painting strokes of Chinese characters (words). Not only does calligraphy illustrate a Chinese character (word), it provides reflections of the spirit, emotions and feelings of the individual of their current state of mind.
Minimalism: An art movement, lifestyle, and philosophy that strives to use things that serve a purpose and moving focus away from embellishment. In its style, elements are stripped to its essentials, to maximise its effect.
‘The Great Wall of Vagina’, by Jamie McCartney [https://jamiemccartney.com/portfolio/the-great-wall-of-vagina/]: "Female genitalia have long been a source of fascination, recently of celebration but generlaly of confusion... It's not vulgar, it's vulva. This isn't just sensation, it is art with a social conscience. ... Vulvas and labia are as different as faces and many people, particularly women, don't seem to know that. McCartney hopes this sculpture will help to quell that anxiety and combat the exponential rise, seen in recent years, of cosmetic labial surgeries. ... "It's time our society grew up around these issues and I'm certain that art has a role to play." "
